The Research Institute is governed by the Board of Trustees (BOT). The BOT shall consist of 6 elected trustees from the ACCP membership and between 3 and 6 appointed trustees and four Ex-Officio Members. The BOT is responsible for, but not limited to, accomplishing the following:

• Develop strategic plans and policies to conduct business and for future growth;
• Identify, prioritize, and implement research and education agendas and programs for the corporation; and
• Guide and actively participate in the fund raising efforts of the Corporation.
